OpenOffice Writer needs a setting that says: Unable to create new document. Add 500 original paragraphs on your document "Story1" in order to proceed.

Oh goodness, Marian, I'm in the exact same predicament. Except I've got two more works-in-progress than you have. If I were a more steady and prolific writer that wouldn't be such a bad thing, but I'm the sort who works in spurts (and then I have to force words out of myself during the doldrum stages).
But your projects all sound so charming! Especially the historical fantasy (one of my favourite genres) and the steampunk novel. I know this probably isn't what you needed to hear, but... maybe in a future post you could go into further detail on each of them. I would really love it if you did. ^.^

Though, I do find I work better if I can jump between projects.... but for me that also means jumping between mediums, as in scripts... :P

I've got quite a handful of works going myself, but I've had to put them all on hold except for one novel so I can have time for my script adaption (which is not for me or else I would just add it on top of the pile).
But I agree with Megan - all your works sound so wonderful! They'll all get finished eventually... right?! :)
Sophia - The problem is, I'd find someway to get around that setting! ;D
Megan - I'm glad I'm not the only one--your writing schedule sounds exactly like mine! I will try to post about those novels soon. :)
Abby - I think it helps to write in different mediums, which I only started recently. In fact, I've still got to practice scriptwriting, one of these days!
Melee - The poetry book is actually going to be finished soon--a lot sooner than I expected. :) Maybe I just need more patience with the novels...
Oh, gosh. I'm the same way--it's awful. :P Actually I'm probably even worse, because I don't even have fragments for most of the stories in my head--or complete plots, half the time, just characters with back stories and a general direction for their lives.
